Description: Ostia, Terme dei Cisiarii, 1972-73 excavations. Found in Room C (the frigidarium) of the baths, in a stratified context dated
from the late Antonine to the Severan period. This token was found in 'C6' "fogna lungo parete E", in association with 3 quadrantes
(one of Nero (RIC I 317), one anonymous (RIC II 28), one of Hadrian (RIC II 625)), as well as two illegible coins of as size
and 7 further illegible coins. Also found were fragments of ceramics, a lamp with the stamp ANNISER and a fragment of a 'megaglione
in terracotta con scena erotica'. Spagnoli suggested that the 44 tokens found in the room may have been a homogeneous deposit
that was later dispersed.
