• Findspot

  • Description: Ostia, Terme dei Cisiarii, 1972-73 excavations. Found in Room C (the frigidarium) of the baths, in a stratified context dated from the late Antonine to the Severan period. This particular token was found with another in C3, the SE corner in a fill stratum under the restoration of the mosaic. Spagnoli suggested that the 44 tokens found in the room may have been a homogeneous deposit that was later dispersed.
