Ostia, Terme dei Cisiarii, 1972-73 excavations. Found in Room C (the frigidarium) of the baths, in a stratified context dated from the late Antonine to the Severan period. This particular token was found with 9 other tokens in C4, "settore F", fill of a cut for the 'fognolo di scarico della vasca S'. Also found was 8 illegible coins (asses or dupondii), lamps (whole and fragmentary, one with the stamp ANNISER), an incised gem, a gold bead, hairpins, glass pastes, fragments of glass and pottery, an earring. Spagnoli suggested that all the tokens found in the room may have been a homogeneous deposit that was later dispersed.
