Ostia Antiquarium inv. 7034

Obverse: ΦΛ - Mould for two types of token. On the left of the central casting channel are triangular tokens of 9 mm carrying the legend ΦΛ, and on the right square tokens (7x6mm) showing a figure carrying a pole in their left hand and with their right outstretched.

    • Description: Ostia, via delle Corporazioni, fill from the west side of the street.ii The giornale degli scavi records that the excavations took place in the area between the via delle corporazioni in between the underpass near the room with the ceiling and the underpass near the house with the large warehouse magazines towards he north of this street. It also included the first two rooms found to the west of the street when going from south to north. The report seems to suggest the finds come from the first room.
