Description: Ostia, Caserma dei Vigili. Excavations of the porticus in front of rooms 1 and 2, on the north side of the caserma, the first
half on the right as one enters. Two tokens were found, both seemingly of the same type.
Note: The type is that recorded by Vaglieri in NSc., who notes that for the other specimens (inv. 4891.1) he could read on one side
CVR and on the other side M... with a type that seemed to be TURS 869. He noted that this specimen was in a poor state of
preservation, but seemed to be of the same type. The identification is thus not definitive.
